Universal Record Label Pushes Gun Wear
A Universal rap label called Roc-a-Fella has launched a clothing line that promotes unlicensed concealed weapons, which are a violation of law in most cities, if not everywhere.
Now I'm not opposed to the Second Amendment, as I've blogged in MusicPundit: The Right To Bare Arms.
But this crosses the line. Is Universal really that stupid? A Gun company just got hit with a million dollar jury verdict because a teen killed his teacher. And the Gun distributor wasn't promoting any illegal use of guns.
How would a jury react to a teen who killed with a concealed and unlicensed weapon - if the teen was wearing the Universal clothing line? Especially if the teen claimed to be influenced by the advertising?
What makes this all the more hypocritical - Universal is attacking me (a teen) for supposedly promoting music piracy because I speak out and criticize their corrupt practices.
So.... it's OK if they advertise something really stupid and illegal, but I can't advertise my criticism of their unfair business practices.
Now let's put that before a jury!

And in other news.... Mickey Mouse CEO Back from Dead!
Hmm... First they both disappear together (MusicPundit Bin Laden Death Watch and MusicPundit Mickey Mouse CEO Is Finished)
Now they both reappear together ...
Plus, they're both tall and egomaniacs.
Has anybody ever seen these two guys in the same room at the same time?
Hey, I'm only kidding! I wouldn't want to get sued for slander!
Of course, if he did sue then Bin Laden would give a clue to his whereabouts!
