"Ten years ago, independents produced 16 new series," says former Universal Studios head BARRY DILLER. "Last year, they produced just one. The independents are dying in droves."
Diller calls media conglomerates "real dangers".
Barry Diller also attacked the radio giant Clear Channels saying, "Local broadcasters should not be simply the distribution arms of monolithic enterprises".
