Deal between Sony Music Taiwan and notorious "Bamboo Union" gang. Quote: "Don't you think fighting piracy itself is legitimate, no matter who they are?"
So far courts have not interpreted Copyright laws to make millions of computer users subject to gray area criminal activity.
But now, if this report is true, Sony isn't waiting for the courts. They're using the black-and-white criminal activity of gangsters to do what courts would likely refuse to do - strong-arm enforcement of those same gray areas.
