Sarah of Verizon, she champion of freedom. Yessss! Umm, also Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Verizon Communications, who marshalls opposition to Big Media in Congress. I'm seriously thinking about going to law school, if I could make a difference like Sarah does.

If you are serious about the law, try reading some biographies of some famous lawyers, and see if it still seems interesting. I love the law, mostly, but after marking up my nth indenture I can think of other things that might be more fun. Keep in mind, too, that it takes a long time to reach the pinnacle of the profession that Sarah of Verizon has, and there is a lot of scut-work on the way. If you are still determined, I wish you the best. Posted by: Doug Levene, on August 28, 2002 03:11 PM

Law school was a wonderful time. Don't be baited into thinking it's yelling teachers, fainting students, and unbearable pressure. Although there may be some of that, if you take everything with a grain of salt, study, and attend class (at least once in a while) it's a lot of fun. And interesting, too. No matter what, whether you practice law or not, a law degree can never hurt your chances at future success, despite all the lawyer jokes. Posted by: Dane Lewis, on August 28, 2002 04:01 PM

Now that I consider to be a very good example of a Hero to be looked up to. Posted by: Adam, on June 1, 2003 05:43 PM
