Robert Novak's headline says (Attorney General) Ashcroft Overrun By Liberals. Is Justice a liberal or conservative issue? One thing for sure, Politicians Opposed to Freedom get most of their money from big media, and they're mostly liberal democrats.

Hi, Depends what kind of justice. As a liberal who's quite skeptical of intellectual property rights, I'd like to suggest that conservatives are as bad, if not worse, as liberals in propping up the big scam of IPR. There's a lot of liberals who recognize that IPRs are nothing but poorly justified government-imposed monopolies. As well as the awful things they do to our ability to share music, IPRs also completely mess up the ability of the third world countries to produce life-saving medicine and important manufacturing tech affordably. But if you read the Wall Street Journal or the National Review, you won't find any sympathy at all for our skepticism of IPRs. To conservatives, IPRs are property rights, plain and simple, and they defend them to the hilt just as they do every other property right. Oh, and don't forget that the strongest and most consistent appeals for censorship and the continuing waste of money that is the War on Drugs originate from the cultural conservative right. Whether you decide to believe me or not, you've still got a very stylish site. Best wishes and keep up the good work! Cheers, Eric P.S.: I'd also like to point out that the "Politicians Opposed to Freedom" you link to contains more Republicans than Democrats, not that the Dems are by any means saints.
